My go-to tool for background extraction, noise reduction, and AI-powered deconvolution before finishing an image in PixInsight.
Siril
A powerful free alternative for calibration and stacking. I occasionally use it when testing different processing workflows.
DeepSkyStacker
A simple and beginner-friendly stacking program that I still use from time to time when I want a quick and straightforward workflow, especially multi night projects.
Adobe Photoshop
Used for final presentation, resizing, annotations, and preparing images for websites and social media.

PIPP
My first step for planetary and solar imaging. It helps prepare and sort video frames before stacking.
AutoStakkert!
My primary stacking software for lunar, solar, and planetary images. It selects the best frames and combines them into a single image.
RegiStax
Used after stacking to sharpen details using wavelets and bring out fine structure on the Moon, Sun, and planets.

My most-used planning tool. I use the desktop version for target research, framing, visibility checks, and planning future imaging sessions.
SkySafari Plus
My preferred astronomy app on mobile, along with Stellarium. Great for checking targets, observing sessions, and planning while away from the computer.
Clear Outside
Usually the first weather forecast I check before setting up my equipment. It provides astronomy-focused cloud and visibility forecasts.
Windy
Excellent for tracking cloud cover, wind conditions, and larger weather patterns that may affect an imaging session.
Zoom Earth
Real-time satellite imagery that helps me verify cloud movement and weather systems before heading outside.
Light Pollution Map
My primary tool for scouting darker locations and comparing light pollution levels when planning trips away from home.
